That Latin Passion

I'm told I have some sort of Latin passion...
I have come to notice, this "Latin passion" Americans speak may turn out to be real instead of the ridiculous myth I assumed it was.  Every time I look at my mother and sister I am convinced there is something in Latin women that makes them so fire-y.

I've been told I may or MAY NOT overreact...a good amount...about things that...MAY or may not be that important. This term used towards latin americans has come up several times, from several people. However, I am simply defensive about the things I care about, and that matter to me or bother me, which in turn makes me a passionate person. Shouldn't that be just a good thing?
I stick up for the things and people that I see as important, no matter what others may think.  If it matters to me, it matters to me, there is nothing anyone can say that makes that any different; and I will fight for it till the death.  I don't see that as over the top, I just see it as...some sort of passion.

Then again, when I notice the people around me I realize more and more it's not a Latin thing, it's more of a women thing.
You see people referring to black women as "crazy" I mean come on, you've seen those Tyler Perry movies, they always have guns, and are throwing some sort of glass object at someone’s (a man's) head. However, the reason is always something important to them, whether it be a man, or their own self respect.
You see people referring to white women as "crazy." All those cars being scratched up with keys, all those "other" women being slapped and scratched, hair being pulled.
The women that have the right to think for themselves and fight for what they want, always will.

I guess generally all women have that "passion,"  We run on emotions a lot of the time, and although sometimes it might not be the best thing, we know what we want, what will make us happy in the end, or at least in that moment.

I am thannkful for those who stick by me throughout all this crazyness. Maybe they do because they know that just means that while my passion for the things I believe in is strong my passion for them is equal in strength.
